Washington – On Monday, a federal judge refused to request a request from the Trump administration Ghishline MaxwellLate sexual criminal Jeffrey Epstein’s long -time associates who have been serving a 20 -year sentence for sex trafficking.
American District Court Judge Paul Angelmier rejected the Bid of Justice to unveil the material for the southern district of New York 31 page order Monday mornings. In the filing in the court, the lawyers of the Department of Justice argued that the circumstances of the Maxwell case warned the grand jury tape and release of demonstrations, which usually remain secret. Engelmayer rejected that argument.
“The government’s call under special circumstances, however, fails on the threshold,” Angelmier wrote. “Its basis – that the Maxwell Grand Jury content will bring to light the new information about the crimes of Epstein and Maxwell, or the government’s investigation into them – protesting is wrongly incorrect.”
