Scotty Sheffoler was a leader at the end of the third round of open Saturday at the Royal Portrash.
The 29-year-old Sheffer continued his major game on Saturday, completing 4-under equal to go to 14-enders for the tournament.
The three-time prominent champion played a bogie-free golf and had an eagle and two Birds. The Eagle of the Sheffeler came to the seventh hole, while its two birds were on the eighth and 16th hole respectively.

If the chefler can catch and win tomorrow, he will be three-fourth of the way for the career slam and will win its second major tournament of the year. Chefler won the PGA Championship in May.
If the Chefler Open wins on Sunday, he will join a special list of players to win Masters, PGA Championships and Open at the age of 30.
There are only three players Gary Player, Jack Nickes and Tiger Woods who have received that feat.
While the chefler was in the first place, above the leaderboard, there was a lot of movement behind them.

Matt Fitzpatrick entered the third round at 9-under equal, but shot equal and fell in third place. Lee Hotong beat Fitzpatric to second place and shot 2-under equal to go to 10-ends for the tournament.
There are four-way tie for the fourth place as four different players put themselves into a dispute to go to the final round.
Rory McLero shot a 5-ender equal to the tournament to go to 8-under. Chris Gotorup, Harris English and Tierel Haton all equalized 3-underlines to improve 8-end equal for the tournament.
Brian Harman entered the day in a tie in the third position at 8-under equal, but fought on Saturday and 2-over became equal to leaving in a tie for the ninth place.

The first pair will close on ET at 8:30 am in the final round of Open.
