Officials said that a suspect was in custody after shooting three police officers, who were responding to the “disturbance” call in Utah on Sunday night.
Tremonton Garland police officers responded around 9:30 pm in the area near the North Park Elementary School and met a suspect, Brigham City Detective Crystal Beck told reporters during a briefing overnight.
The officials involved in the shooting called for backup, but at some point, stopped responding to his radio, Bake said.
Officials confirmed that three officers were shot, although it was not said whether someone had died by Monday morning or not. The authorities had no other information about shooting or “mess” that they were responding to that they were provided immediately.
