In his 20s, a swimmer who was in difficulty at Broads in Norfolk died after being taken to the hospital.
On Tuesday, emergency services were called to the bureau in Horsted after a person’s report in a person’s problem in water on around 18:30 BST.
The Norfolk police said the death is not being considered suspicious.
In a statement, the Broads Authority said that it “increased deep sympathy towards the loved ones of the person who lost his life while swimming in the horsated mill”.
HM Coastguard said that the rescue teams of Winton and Bacton participated in the scene in the Mill Road with Hembsbi Inshore Rescue Service.
Fire, ambulance and air ambulance services also participated.
The Broad Authority said: “Our views are with everyone affected by this sad incident.
“While accurate circumstances have not yet been reported, the incident serves as a tragic reminder how dangerous our waterways can be.
“We are releasing a reminder to understand serious risks to intentionally enter [water]And being aware of possible results should be something wrong. ,

Lisa Douglas, 44, Ailsham’s 44 -year -old, said she had been floating in a horsated mill for 30 years and brought her two children, wearing a life jacket.
“Security is always paramount when you have found children,” she said.
“Take all the precautions that you need – make sure you have found a life jacket and make sure you know your boundaries.”
He said: “There is no way that it can be guarded throughout the time – it is a beautiful area and people come here all the time to swim.”
