Homeland Security Secretary Christie Nom said that the agency is evaluating changes in its liquid restrictions for the airline Carrie-on–A potential major change in the policy and security administration (TSA) policy that has been in place since 2006 and is a symbol of travel.
NOEM, who had eliminated the need for a shoe-band at TSA security posts at each airport nationwide last week, flew the idea that the 3.4 ooun liquid rules would also roll back.
According to The Associated Press, Nom said at a program in Washington, DC on Wednesday, “The fluid I am questioning can be the next major announcement.

The security policy of about 20-year-old shoe airports has ended by the Trump administration
“We have made it to a multi -level screening process in TSA, which allows us to change some of the safety and screening, so it is still equally safe.”
Under the current guidance of the Transport and Safety Administration, passenger can carry fluids in travel-shaped containers 3.4 ounces or less per item in their carry-on bags. Those containers should be placed in a one-fourth research plastic bag. Large containers should go into the goods checked, although there are exceptions to drugs and baby formulas.
Liquid sanctions came into force in 2006 after a London terrorist plot, where terrorists planned to use liquid explosives hidden inside the bottles of beverages in translantic flights.
When a formal announcement may come, NOEM did not give the timeline. Fox News Digital has reached Homeland Security and TSA for further comments.

TSA shows the surprising reason that people can set safety alarm during screening
The fluid rule has long been a symbol of the post -9/11 security protocol.
The policy has added time to screening posts and has made air travel quite stressful, as TSA agents examine any containers more than the 3.4-ounce range. The visual visuals of the quick passengers cut the water or bounce the entire bottles in the garbage compartment, and the agents need to seize anything that does not complose, often for the disappointment of everyday passengers.
This step comes after a week when NOEM ends the shoe-closure requirement, citing new technology that can scan for potentially dangerous items. He said that TSA wants to protect people, but also provides some hospitality.

Noam said on Wednesday that she is questioning “everything does TSA” and has kept her vision for a visit to the airport.
“Hopefully, the future of an airport, where I want to go, is that you walk to the door with your carry-on suitcase, you walk through a scanner and go right for your aircraft,” Nom said. “You take a minute.”
