A woman says that after a 18 -month fight to deal with a rat infection, she has been thrown out of her cornwall house, which has destroyed parts of her house.
Merry Sanders of Launseston stated that the mice “ruined everything” in their house on Murland Road, forced her to go with her son. He said that mice hummed through their garden fences, walls, floors, bathrooms and kitchens.
She feels less than her Housing Association and said stress has affected her mental health.
The Guinness Partnership apologized and said that the status of neighboring properties attracted mice. It said that the contractors had participated to complete the pest control and further visits were arranged.
It was added that neighboring gardens were also now approved, and the possible access points of MS Sanders property were blocked.
Ms. Sanders said that there were drops everywhere, she had electricity tripping and her kitchen was completely ruined.
He said that the infection had stopped him from traveling to his grandson and abandoned his feeling like the Housing Association “don’t care” and “don’t take it seriously”.
Ms. Sanders says that she first reported the issue to the Guinness Partnership a year ago.
“I have been on an out-of-the-cut emergency call, but no one has gone out for me, they don’t care.”
He said: “I should not trust other people living and live in their homes. I want to be safe in my house.”
The Guinness Partnership said: “We are sorry that Ms. Sanders had problems with mice in her house.
“We recognize the situation that the situation is on Ms. Sanders and offered her hotel residence, while the problem was being treated, which she refused.”
It states: “As some items of Ms. Sanders were damaged when the rats were in her house, we have also paid Ms. Sanders as a goodwill gesture.”
It said that the situation will be kept under review.
