Wout Van Art refused Tadej Pogacar to a prestigious victory in the final stages of Tour Day France of this year as Slovenian won their fourth tour title.
The ruled champion Pogkar led a lead of over four minutes in the last day, when only the stage would win in Paris.
With rain in the French capital, the 26-year-old established himself in a six-man breakway during a thrilling closing on the same circuit used for last year’s Olympic race.

After a disappointing tour, the versatile Belgium was able to claim its 10th tour victory, crossing the line 19 seconds before a group of three riders, later pogakar.
As Pogakar finished, he put a hand in the air to celebrate the level of going with British rider Chris from for a victory of all time tour, with only jacks ankasty, AD Merkx, Bernard Hinold and Miguel Induran over him (five wins).
Pogkar has become the first World Road Champion to win the tour since Greg Lamond in 1990 and won the title of King of the Mountain for the third time.
Two -time tour winner Jonas Winggard finished the race four minutes back 24 seconds behind Pogkar, Floorian Lipovitz finished third in general classification standing ahead of British Ryder Oscar Oscar.
24 -year -old Lipovitz was the best young rider, while fellow tour debutant Jonathan Milan, who is 24 years old, topped the numerology standing.
