The National Park Service allegedly fired a Trans Yosemite National Park Ranger, which hung a transgender pride flag at the L Capitan rock formation of the park earlier this year.
35 -year -old Shannon “SJ” wrote Josalin A Instagram post In May on Monday, “to practice my first amendment” was expelled from the park after hanging 55-foot from a 35-foot flag in the prestigious rock destination of Yosemite in May.
Josalin, who is non-binary and uses them/uses pronouns, has claimed that he has raised the flag as an off-duty and a private citizen.
“I was fired by the temporary Deputy Superintendent for the park as a wildlife biologist for the park to ‘fail to display acceptable’. No part of the flag hanging was done at work time. There was nothing about it, nothing about it,” Joselin wrote.

Josalin flew the flag for about two hours before taking it down and said that “no” was punished to hang a flag in L Capiton before the last week after decades of practice.
“I want my rights and I want my career back,” Josalin demanded.
In a statement NBC NewsRachel Pavlitz, a spokesman of the National Park Service, said that the Department of Justice was taking “administrative action” against several Yosemite National Park employees and was violating laws about alleged demonstrations about “potential criminal allegations” against several park visitors. He did not specify the details of these criminal investigations.
“However, we want to emphasize that we take the safety of the park’s resources and the experience of our visitors very seriously, and will not tolerate violations of laws and rules affecting those resources and experiences,” Pavlitz said.

Josalin partnered with an alliance known as Trans, is natural to hang the flag against the Trump administration, pushing back to transgender and LGBTQ ideology.

“El Capiton’s heart growing this flag is a celebration of our community that stands in solidarity with each other and all targeted groups,” Josalin said. Statement to NBC Those days. “Trans existence is not for debate. We are social workers, public servants, parents and neighbors. To be trans is a natural, beautiful part of human and biological diversity. We can only progress when we embrace diversity, we cannot erase it.”

In February, the park staff upside down the US flag on the edge of L Capiton to oppose the sorting by President Donald Trump.
