Triston Rogers, who is known for acting as Robert Scorpio in the long -running soap opera “General Hospital”, has died. He was 79 years old.
Frank Valentini, an executive producer of “General Hospital”, announced Rogers’s death in a personal statement shared on the official Instagram page of the ABC TV series on Friday. Last month, Rogers’s representative confirmed the Fox News Digital that the actor was Diagnosed cancer.
“The entire general hospital family has a heartbreak to hear about Triston Rogers’s passing,” Valentini wrote With a picture of Rogers.

“Triston has captivated our fans for more than 50 years and Port Charles would not be the same without him (or Robert Scorpio),” he continued. “I would like to expand my deep sympathy towards my family and friends during this difficult time. Triston was a kind of talent and will be remembered a lot. He can rest peacefully.”

Rogers appeared in more than 1,400 episodes of “General Hospital” in over four decades.
