President Donald Trump supported the law enforcement agencies and said he was confident of his ability to determine why “Craze Lonnetic” opened fire in a manhattan office tower on Monday, killing an officer of New York City Police Department.
Trump said in a social media post on Tuesday, “I have been informed about the tragic shooting in Manhattan, a place I know and love.” “I am confident that our law enforcement agencies to get to the bottom of why such a frightening violence did such an insensitive work. My heart is with the families of four people who were killed, including the NYPD officers who made the final sacrifice. God is giving the last sacrifice. God is giving the New York Police Department, and God blessing!”

Authorities identified the gunman as Shane Tamura of Las Vegas, who died of a self-inspired gun wound.
A total of four other people were killed in the shooting, including the New York Police Department official Didarul Islam, 36. Islam was in force for three and a half years and is left with his pregnant wife and two children.
Police Commissioner Jessica Tish said at a news conference on Monday, “He was doing the work we asked to do. She harmed himself. She made a final sacrifice.” “He died as he lived. A hero.”

New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced on Tuesday that the flags across the city would be reduced to half staff to honor Islam.
“NYPD officer Didarul Islam, who was killed in the line of duty, and yesterday, many victims of large -scale shooting in Midtown Manhattan in 345 Park Avenue died, I have ordered all the flags on all the city buildings and ordered the stable flagstaff to be reduced even to further information.”
Adams wrote in another post on X, “Didarul Islam, a hero of the city of New York and a protector, died. We will never forget you.”
