Coca-Cola uses corn syrup in its American products, but Trump’s Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has expressed concern about the health effects of the component.
Trump wrote on social media, “I am talking to Coca-Cola about using real cane sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so.” “I want to thank all the people of the authority in Coca-Cola.”
Without clearly confirming the recipe Twiks, a spokesperson of Coca-Cola stated that they “appreciate the enthusiasm of President Trump” and “more details on new innovative prasad within our Coca-Cola product range will be shared soon”.

While the coke sold in the US is usually sweet with corn syrup, coke in other countries, such as Mexico, UK and Australia, goes to use sugarcane sugar.

But any decision to use cane sugar can leave a bitter outrest for American corn farmers.
John Bode, president and CEO of the Corn Refiners Association, said in a statement, “Thousands of American food manufacturing jobs instead of high fructose corn syrup with sugarcane sugar, to suppress the income of the farm and promote import of foreign sugar, will not have any nutritional benefits.”
The US Health Secretary and his Make America Healthy Again Movement have advocated the removal of artificial colors from their products such as corn syrup, seed oil and artificial colors for companies, connecting them to a litni of health problems.
