President Donald Trump said that he would not be “not happy” on Friday if he does not move away from his meeting with President Vladimir Putin with a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.
Trump told Fox News’ Brett Bair that he does not like “a lot of expectations”, but “I want to have a ceasefire.”
“If I did not find it, I wouldn’t be thrilled,” he said. “Everyone says, ‘You are not going to a ceasefire. You – it will be in the second meeting,’ … but I am not going to be happy with it.”
The President said that if Friday’s summit is not good, he can cancel the conversation completely.
“I will not be happy if I go without any form without a ceasefire. Now, I say it, and I said it from the beginning: it is really setting up the table today. We are going to meet another meeting, if things work out, which will be very soon, or we are not going to do any other meetings, probably anytime.”

Trump spoke on the Air Force one, flying towards Aankorez, Alaska, where he and his team met with the Russian delegation at a face-to-face meeting with the new administration’s Putin.

Trump said he would not talk on peace on behalf of Ukraine, but would “set the table” for a conversation between Putin and Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelanski.
“Okay, look, it’s not to interact on a deal for me for Ukraine, but I can definitely set the table to interact on the deal,” he said. “Our next meeting will be President Zelansky and President Putin and maybe I will be.”

Trump also said that he may “have to start liking Hillary Clinton”, former Democratic Presidential candidate said that he would nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize if he interacted on a peace agreement and did not “Capitulat” for Russia.
“It was very good. I might have to start liking her again,” said Trump.

“But maybe it is an opportunity to clarify that there should be a ceasefire, there will be no exchange of the region, and that, over time, Putin should actually withdraw from the seized area to showcase his good confidence efforts, we say, not to threaten European security,” he said.
