Trump-Zelenskyy meeting live updates as leaders head to the White House for Ukraine talks

On Sunday, a group of European leaders announced that they would be with Zelancesi on their visit to Washington, including:

• British Prime Minister Kir Stamor
• German Chancellor Frederick Merz
• French president Emanuel Macron
• Italian Prime Minister Goria Meloni
• Finish president Alexander Stub

Mr. Trump met Zelancesi at the Oval Office before holding a big meeting with European leaders participating, both events opened for cameras partially.

Reporters are being introduced at the beginning of Mr. Trump’s meeting with Zelancesi at 1:15 pm, as well as part of the meeting with European leaders at 3 pm, as the meetings may last long. There is no press conference with Mr. Trump and any European leaders.

Other American officials will be at the Oval Office for a meeting with Zelansky, including Vice President JD Vance, Rubio, White House Staff Susie Wils, US Special Envoy Steve Witchoff and special messengers for special messengers.

Rubio Said On “Face the Nation With Margaret Brainon”, although there was not “much progress” at the Alaska Summit on Friday, it took place “adequate movement” to justify Monday’s talks.

“If not, we will not fly Zelanski here in all ways,” Rubio said. “We are not all European people coming here. Understand now, and take it with a grain of salt, I am not saying that we are on the verge of a peace deal, but I am saying that we saw the movement, enough agitation to justify a follow -up meeting with Zelancesi and European, to dedicate more time to adequate movement for us.”
