Two British citizens have died during the holiday in Portugal.
Both people were Epswich and aged 27 and 29, BBC understands.
The report of local Portuguese media drowned in a hotel in Albufera and a money -raising page established in his memory said he “lost his life after 24 hours of arrival”.
“We are supporting two British men’s families, who have died in Portugal and are in touch with local authorities,” a spokesman of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office told the BBC.
