New Delhi: A railway security force (RPF) constable has been accused of trying to push a passenger out of a train after a video of a widely spreading incident on social media. The clip shows the officer slapping a young man, draws him towards the open door and trying to push him out, as other passengers can be heard objecting. The man was accused of traveling without a ticket. Instead of issuing the fine or removing him at the next station, the officer allegedly forced him to get out.The video has taken thousands of reactions on social media, demanding several strict action from railway officials.The RPF later issued a statement stating that the incident took place on August 18, 2025 at Delhi Sarai Rohila station. According to the force, the train was closed after pulling the chain, and the constable only tried to remove the passenger when he failed to provide an identity. It said that the train was on stage at that time, dismissing the claims that the man was pushed by a moving train.Officials said the constable has been taken to the RPF reserve line in Daya Basti and a divisional level investigation is going on. The investigation is still on, and the RPF has said that action will be taken after completion.
