The government is targeting those who continue to claim child benefits after leaving the UK, in one step it is expected that hundreds of million pounds will be saved.
More families are capable of claiming profit after earning limit, and it is currently paid to 6.9 million homes.
Who can benefit the child?
If you are responsible for bringing a child, you can get the benefit of the child:

How much can I earn before losing the child’s profit?
Before losing the child’s benefit, you or your partner is a limit to the amount you can earn.

How does child gain affect National Insurance Credit?
Claiming child benefits for a child below 12 years of age, it means that you automatically get National Insurance (NI) Credit, Which is counted towards your state pension,
If you are not working or if you do not earn enough to pay NI contribution, these credits can help fill your NI records.
The government recommends that you should still fill the child benefits claim form, even though high income fee means that you do not get payment, so that you can get NI credit.
Doing this also means that your child will automatically get NI number if he is 16 years old.
What happens if your family conditions change?
If a family is divided, the amount of benefits of the paid child depends on how many children are there, and where they live.
If you have two children and one lives with each parents, both of you will get high amount for each child.
If you share custody of one or more children, only one of you can claim benefits from their behalf.
The largest will still be entitled to high amount, and any young child will get less payment.
If two families join together, the largest child in the new family qualifies for a higher rate, and any other eligible children receive small amount.
If a child dies, hair benefits will usually be paid for another eight weeks, until they turn 20 years old during this period, in which the payment stops next Monday.
