A person has been accused of murder after a woman was found dead in an industrial property in Smethwick.
Shara Miller, 41, was found on Monday from Woodburn Road after 06:10 BST and confirmed the dead on the spot.
Police said that a forensic post -mortem had revealed that he died as a result of strangulation.
West Midlands police said 31 -year -old Tanveer Singh of West Bromwich was arrested on Tuesday and accused of killing Ms. Miller on Wednesday evening.
On Thursday, he has been sent to appear before the Wolverhampton Magistrate Court.
Two other people have been issued with no further action.
Bal said that he believes that Ms. Miller was killed at the place where her body was discovered in the early hours of the morning.
The West Midlands Police has continued to ask the public for any information around its movements before 01:00 BST.
DET Ce Ising Alastair ORENCAS said: “This allegation is an important development in our investigation which is going on too much.
“Our focus is on getting justice for Shar and his loved ones, and it is important that any information that can help us.
“We are interrogating and around Soho Road, Birmingham, where it is understood that she was involved in sex work, and we really want to hear from anyone who would have seen Shaar on Sunday evening or Monday morning.”
The force said that it has increased patrolling in the area where Ms. Miller was found, and as an assurance around Soho Road.
