A woman who was found dead in a house in West Yorkshire over the weekend has been nominated by the police as 21 -year -old Courtney Angus.
Officers were called to report an armed robbery at Asda in Duusbari at around 21:20 BST, and a man arrested at the scene told him that a woman was killed in a nearby house.
The authorities found Miss Angus in the property of Norfolk Street, Batley after some time.
West Yorkshire police said a 37 -year -old man was arrested in a supermarket on suspicion of murder and stays in custody.
A knife was seized at the scene, the force said.
Miss Angus, Diusbari Se, Batley worked in Fox and Hounds Pub, and the staff paid tribute to social media.
He said: “We are heartbroken to hear the devastating news about courtney.
“Although she was with us only in the fox for a while, she left a permanent impression – sweet, kind, and always with a warm smile.”
He said: “Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and everyone who knows and loves him.
“Forever 21. Rest in Peace, Courtney.”
The West Yorkshire Police made a new appeal to someone to come in contact.
